What does it look like to be cared for in Lado a Lado's community?
Whether you are connecting with us in person or online, Lado a Lado offers a variety of preventative and care services to address your specific wellness needs. Because we are committed to supporting Christian workers in their personal lives as well as their mission, services are available for adults, kids, couples, families, and teams. We want to help each person establish healthy rhythms of rest, reflection, and growth.
Receiving care with Lado a Lado generally begins with a debrief, which is a series of intentional and structured questions used to guide a conversation about life and ministry that more deeply examines a particular experience or season. This includes a personal check-in regarding your spiritual, mental/emotional, and physical health, as well as exploring how you feel things are currently going with your relationships and work. Our team can then help you examine and assess areas of desired changes or growth, as well as which resources might be needed to support and encourage this process.
These resources focus on spiritual and emotional health, and are designed with prevention as well as healing and growth in mind. They include education, training, coaching, mentoring, and pastoral care. In addition to this, we can also provide custom, structured retreats on location in Portugal, and can provide referrals to qualified clinical counselors should a higher level of care be needed or desired.
